Leif Herzog, LL.M. (Edinburgh) is a Corporate/M&A Partner with more than 10 years of professional experience advising clients in M&A transactions and restructurings.

His focus is on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and joint ventures, in particular in the chemical, healthcare and automotive sectors, where he advises both strategic and private equity investors as well as high net worth individuals. In addition, he has extensive experience in venture capital transactions, domestic and cross-border corporate restructurings as well as in structuring and implementing multinational carve-outs. In the context of transactions, he also advises on the structuring and implementation of employee participation programs.

Before joining Fieldfisher, he worked for several national and international commercial law firms. In addition, he gained an in-depth insight into the practical workflows of clients through several in-house secondments.

He advises his clients in German and English.

He is a member of the German-British Lawyers Association.

He completed his law studies in Münster. Subsequently he received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Edinburgh.
