Kirsten's background in IT contracting has given her the opportunity to combine her interests in technology, data, and privacy on many interesting projects.  These range from data analytics projects of national importance to launch of apps by tech start-ups with great ideas.

Kirsten is a cyber breach specialist. She helps clients prepare for incidents, including putting in place policies they can rely on in an emergency and training incident response teams for the 'real deal'.  Kirsten helps clients manage incidents small and large, including multi-territory incidents.  Having recognised a need for technology to help clients more effectively assess and manage personal data breaches, she has played a leading role in developing Fieldfisher's revolutionary Data Breach Manager tool.

Kirsten supports clients in the public and private sectors to address data protection compliance when conducting investigations.

Having held Data Protection Officer roles in-house for two major IT providers and an international law firm Kirsten always aims to give clients advice with a good measure of pragmatism.
