Jonathan advises and represents listed and private companies, partnerships and LLPs, and directors and shareholders on a wide range of complex legal and commercial issues, including:  breach of contract; post-completion disputes arising from M&A and private equity investment; joint venture disputes; breach of warranty claims; shareholder disputes, particularly involving unfair prejudice; disputes involving directors duties and company law procedure; partnership and LLP disputes.

Jonathan also regularly advises businesses and senior executives in relation to unlawful competitive activity through the misuse of confidential information, breach of post-termination restrictive covenants by disloyal directors and employees and team moves.

Jonathan has considerable experience of dealing with disputes and litigation on behalf of high-net worth individuals particularly from the Middle East (including ruling family members) where my international experience is focussed.  He has a particular interest in and experience of working for clients based in Qatar (and other Gulf States), where he acts in an external general counsel capacity for one of the leading Qatari groups of companies and its owners in relation to their international investment interests.
