James' experience spans across technology, telecoms, financial services and online business.  He has particular expertise in network infrastructure projects, IT and business process outsourcing, data centres, telecoms regulation and cybersecurity.

Much of his focus is on helping clients get deals done in markets subject to an ever-expanding web of regulation and in respect of new technologies or services. James has a reputation of handling high value 'bet the business' projects and the value of some of the deals on which he advises extends into the billions.

James regularly writes and speaks about emerging legal issues and he is particularly interested in the effects of digital disruption in today's marketplace.
