İsmet Bozoğlu is among the leaders in our Commercial Support and Dispute Resolution practice groups. He also advises strategic investors in M&A transactions. Mr. Bozoğlu has also specific expertise in the maritime and aviation industries. He specializes in guiding the Turkish subsidiaries of global corporations through the complicated patchworks of compliance requirements. As a seasoned litigator, Mr. Bozoğlu also acts as lead counsel where his corporate clients are engaged in local disputes or international arbitration proceedings and specializes in suits arising out of distributorship relationships, market entry or exit transactions, and white-collar criminal proceedings.

Having joined the firm in 2007, Mr. Bozoğlu was a senior associate in the dispute resolution and commercial practice group before being promoted to partner in 2016.

Mr. Bozoğlu is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association, the Istanbul Chapter of the International Law Institute (ILI), E-IURE, and the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey (TKYD).

Mr. Bozoğlu received his Bachelor of Laws from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2002, where he also received a Master of Laws in Commercial Law in 2007.
