After serving as the International Director of Institutional Relations for the European Law Students' Association (ELSA) in Brussels in 1995 and working as an associate in another prestigious Istanbul law firm from 1995 to 1997, Ms. Denktaş came to Hergüner Bilgen Özeke in 1998, where she has been a partner since 2007.

Ms. Denktaş is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association (IBA), the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey (TKYD), International Law Institute (ILI) Istanbul Chapter, the US European Network (USEN), and the European Law Students Association (ELSA).

Ms. Denktaş received her Bachelor of Laws from Istanbul University School of Law in 1996 and her Master of Laws in International Business Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1998.
