Bob Bekker has many years’ experience in the area of real estate transactions and development, in relation to both residential and non-residential property in urban as well as outlying areas. His clients include developers, contractors, lenders, institutional investors, family offices, private equity parties, municipalities and end users, whom he assists in complex negotiation processes, major real estate transactions, large-scale area developments and the conclusion of e.g. preliminary development or cooperation agreements with local governments.

Bob’s efforts are usually (and where desired) directed at conflict avoidance but he also represents clients in litigation where it is necessary or advisable, often with a view to forcing a settlement and always drawing on close to 25 years’ litigation experience. Bob is a trusted advisor for the management teams and boards of several large real estate parties that he has represented for a long time. In that connection, he is regularly asked to brainstorm over strategic real estate questions and to intervene in threatened conflict situations. He also regularly acts as a mediator.

Bob has been with Lexence since 2011. He studied law at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and was admitted to the Dutch Bar in 1993.
