Charles Destrée is a partner in our financing team. Charles has extensive experience advising lenders and borrowers in Dutch and international financing transactions and regularly works with foreign law firms in cross-border transactions. In addition, he advises on financial regulatory law and assists clients in license applications to the AFM (the Dutch securities regulator) or DNB (the Dutch central bank).

Charles has been with Lexence since 2013. He was admitted to the Dutch Bar in 1994 and qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2002. His substantial legal experience includes working as general counsel for ING Real Estate and as a finance lawyer in Indonesia and Australia.
