Jan Hockx is a civil law notary specializing in commercial property development, the redevelopment of town centers and shopping centers, complex divisions of rights in apartment blocks, ownership issues relating to integrated constructions (above ground and underground), investment transactions, and the VAT and transfer-tax aspects of both existing and new buildings.
Jan wrote the book ‘Koop en levering van vastgoed’ (Sale and Conveyance of Real Estate) and is a member of the editorial board of the journal Vastgoed Fiscaal & Civiel (Tax and Civil-Law Aspects of Real estate).
