Veerle specializes in Information Technology and Litigation & Arbitration. Veerle almost exclusively handles disputes. She focusses on litigating complex and/or cross border commercial and IT related disputes in both the regular courts and appeal courts as well as arbitration. Veerle also provides strategical advise about and assist clients in resolving disputes out of court, either or not through alternative dispute resolution methods. Due to her extensive experience in resolving and litigating disputes Veerle is able to keep dispute resolution manageable and comprehensible, while keeping an eye on the interests that are at stake within the organization. In addition to handling commercial and IT related disputes Veerle advises and litigates about e-commerce and consumer rights, e.g. in the context of enforcement actions of supervisory authorities and other strategic proceedings.
