Career

Carla Gonçalves Borges joined VdA in 2013.  Partner of the Litigation & Arbitration practice, she focuses her practice in commercial and civil litigation and in arbitration, both national and international, acting often as an arbitrator.

Carla represents clients represents clients from a wide range of industries, including banking, funds and financial services, energy, construction, infrastructures, PPP, industrials, sports, trade and distribution, telecommunications and emerging technologies, health, tourism and leisure. She has significant experience in insolvency and restructuring proceedings as well criminal and misdemeanour proceedings.

Carla is part of the Under-40 Management Committee of the Portuguese Arbitration Association.
