Partner, Head of Litigation & Arbitration

Joined VdA in 2013 and is the head Partner of the Litigation & Arbitration practice. His activity is focused in international and domestic arbitration and he has a broad experience in commercial litigation. He handles construction, Oil&Gas, finance, distribution, professional negligence and shareholders disputes, among others. He is often appointed as arbitrator.

Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association.Member of the board of the Lisbon Commercial Association Arbitration Centre (2013).Founder member and member of the board of the Dispute Resolution Lawyer Association (2012 to date).Founder member of the Portuguese Arbitration Association (2006).Member of the Board of Directors of the "Associação Portuguesa de Centros Comerciais" (Portuguese Shopping Centres Association) and of the "Associação Portuguesa de Franchising" (Portuguese Franchise Association); Representative of Grupo Pão de Açúcar in the "Associação Comercial de Lisboa" (Lisbon Commercial Association) (1989 - 1992).
