Career

I specialise in resolving disputes arising in the commercial world through a combination of litigation, arbitration, mediation and negotiation. My particular (but not exclusive) focus is in the financial services market. I have extensive experience advising on situations involving financial distress, insolvency and fraud and my ‘sweet spot’ is where these things exist in combination.

I enjoy gaining a deep understanding of my clients’ commercial objectives and red lines within any dispute or investigation. I find this helps them to achieve creative solutions, which really work. Building personal, trusted relationships is at the heart of my practice.

My clients include major financial services firms and banking institutions as well as leading insolvency practitioners. I am also a trusted advisor to a number of high net worth individuals and family-owned businesses.

Leisure

Away from work, I have always loved sport. Increasingly, my pleasure comes from watching my family play rather than playing myself but I do still manage to huff and puff my way around the pitch on a Sunday morning for my local old men’s team. I have developed important, transferable resilience skills from a life as a Tottenham fan.
