Attorney

Thijmen Hatt focuses his practice on litigating civil actions before the Supreme Court of the Netherlands. He also provides legal counsel and litigation services in civil law cases, particularly in the area of corporate law.

Inquisitive and Enthusiastic Thijmen is an inquisitive attorney with broad (legal) interests. “I enjoy intellectual challenges and get excited about unpacking complex legal issues. I’m also a great fan of legal debates.”

Creative and precise, Thijmen has excellent analytical skills that he draws on today as an attorney. He works closely with his colleagues and clients to find compelling solutions to overcome legal challenges.

Educated in Civil Law and Corporate Law Thijmen graduated in both private and corporate law. He wrote his master's thesis on the authority of shareholders to enforce a vote on climate resolutions through the right to propose agenda items. He has also interned and worked at two international law firms.
