Career

Elisabeth Sneeuw has been with Wijn & Stael since 2018. Her practice areas include tenancy law, construction law, architectural law and procurement law. She assists lessors and lessees with the preparation and execution of commercial and residential lease agreements. Elisabeth also counsels and represents clients in litigation matters covering a spectrum of issues, including procurement and liability disputes in the construction industry. Elisabeth is well-versed in crafting consulting services agreements for architects.​

Tenancy law

Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.

Representative Practice

Counseled an in-house (healthcare) organization on the determination and level of service charge increases in the liberalized housing sector and the role of the tenants’ association in service charge negotiations based on the powers granted to them under the Tenant and Landlord (Consultation) Act. Assisted with the drafting, assessment and negotiation of consulting services agreements (pursuant to The New Rules (DNR) 2011)). Counseled architects on (potential) risks and negotiated with contracting companies. Counseled a number of clients on the development and renewal of real estate properties and drafted lease, development and construction agreements and other relevant documents.
