Kars Lichtenberg joined Wijn & Stael in 2025. As an M&A specialist attorney, he represents business owners in mergers and acquisitions, helping them secure the best possible deal. He dedicates significant time to identifying the best legal options for his clients, advising on legal opportunities and risks, and drafting the transaction documents.
Diligent and Client-Focused As a diligent and disciplined attorney, Kars always asks the right questions and has a much-deserved reputation as a forward-thinker. With his attention to detail, he is able to clearly identify potential risks and mitigate them as effectively as possible. Experience and Interests During his studies, Kars worked at a foundation for administrative services and interned at two law firms. He also served on the board of JSVU, the largest student association for law students in the Netherlands.
He earned his master's degree in commercial property law with a thesis on the legal uncertainty that may arise from the model texts that major Dutch banks use for independent bank guarantees.
