Mr. Andreassen has extensive experience from all key areas within collective and individual labour law, arriving from law firm Kvale DA in 2020. He assists private and public actors both with advice in negotiations and as a legal counsel in litigation. In addition to his general law practice, he has previously worked as a lawyer in the employers' organization KS and as deputy judge.
His background includes cases of reorganizations and downsizing, transfer of undertakings, employment, whistleblowing cases, working hours, corporate democracy, data protection privacy, pension-related issues, etc.
He has impressive knowledge of collective labour law issues, such as industrial actions and collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), establishment and interpretation of CBAs as well as procedures in this connection. and he handles claims for collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) from unions. He is co-author of “Arbeidsrett.no” focusing on the Industrial Disputes Act. Arbeidsrett.no remains one of the main commentaries on the Industrial Disputes Act.
He has extensive experience with statutory regulations on pay and working conditions for foreign companies and posting of workers, representing foreign service providers in Norway.
Over the last year, a significant proportion of his work has been related to reorganisations and downsizing/redundancies, working as an integral team member with the employer client, and on several occasions handling large unions on their behalf.
