James is a Legal Director in our Real Estate team. He has over 10 years’ experience and has significant expertise in advising clients on all aspects of asset management and investment work.
Examples of his work include:
Acted for Hammerson in respect of the management and development of its retail parks’ portfolio as well as advising on circa £400 million of disposals from the portfolio.
Acted for Battersea Power Station Development Limited on the property and estate structuring of the Battersea Power Station development.
Advised a landlord on the regearing (with ancillary works) of a US bank’s leasehold interest in an office building in Canary Wharf.
Advised Aviva on its acquisition of a retail park in Crawley for circa £55 million.
