Position
Stewart Young is a Legal Director with a wealth of experience in bringing maximum severity clinical negligence claims at the High Court level. Stewart has acted for individuals in a variety of cases, including spinal, brain injury, birth injury and sepsis cases. He obtained AvMA Panel Member accreditation in November 2023. He is also accredited as a Senior Litigator by APIL. Stewart has a special interest in birth injury claims. He has an extensive network of contacts within the charity sector and works closely with Paula Barnes and other members of the team to provide specialist support to families with children and young people living with cerebral palsy and other life long conditions caused by brain injuries suffered before or during birth. During the last 12 months he has advised over 20 families on potential claims including providing them with free advice and guidance on issues such as community care, healthcare and education.
