Tax and Legal Adviser/Partner and Chief Technology Officer for KPMG Advokatfirma AS,  Simona Vasile has over 20 years of consulting experience supporting global clients cross industries with tax advisory and compliance services as well as technology and innovation solutions related to internationally mobile and remote workers, global employment tax and payroll needs, budget & risk assessments, global rewards, compensation and benefits structuring, tax planning and tax controversy support, global assignments and HR transformation, policy development, insights and benchmarking with a focus on talent management.

Simona has also analyzed, evaluated and reframed processes and procedures, organized vendor summits and supported companies with managed services, ESG and digitalization implementations. She excels at identifying and establishing efficiencies with an unwavering focus on experience. Simona is also involved with the KPMG Nordics Board Leadership Center.

Simona has personally experienced life as a global and mobile employee. Before moving to Norway, she lived and worked in the US, Romania, India and the UK. Simona is hosting the Global Employment Tax News LinkedIn Group, implements KPMG Licensed Technology and leads the Tax Digital Assets and Innovation as well as KPMG Digital Now employee upskilling initiatives.
