Bart Vandereeckt, partner, provides advice on a broad range of contractual matters, such as sale, distribution, agency, franchising, commercial cooperation, R&D, joint production agreements and technology transfer agreements, and conducts litigation regarding any aspects of such matters. Bart also has broad experience in all areas of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyright and design rights, and advises clients on information technology, e-commerce, privacy and market practices.
Carl  Bevernage
Carl Bevernage  advises on all aspects of collective labour and individual employment law. After having been a research and teaching assistant at the K.U. Leuven School of Law, Carl joined the Brussels Bar and contributed during almost thirty years to the development of a first-tier Belgian law office with international reputation, and, subsequently, to the expansion of a Dutch-Belgian Belgian firm in Belgium. Carl is an active member of the International Labour & Employment Section of the ABA and the Labour and Employment Section of the IBA. He was Head of the Brussels Bar (D) from 1990 -1992, Head of Belgian Delegation in the Council of European Bars (CCBE) (2006-2008) and he currently chairs the GATS Committee of the CCBE. He also chairs the Board of a hospital, is a director of the Brussels Philharmonic Society, and is Co-President of the Belgian-Dutch Association
Isabelle Buelens, partner, is active in various fields of European and Belgian law, with a particular focus on competition law, vertical agreements, market practices, advertising and consumer law. She has written extensively in these areas. Isabelle has followed closely the significant regulatory developments in these areas at European level and their implementation into Belgian law. Isabelle is an experienced litigator in the European and Belgian courts. She has successfully handled a large number of summary proceedings in the area of advertising and passing-off issues. She provides counsel and represents international and national clients in inquiries and procedures before the European Commission and the Belgian Competition Authority. She has been actively involved in many merger filing procedures before these authorities.
Kathleen Paisley
Kathleen Paisley is a US national who has been practicing in Brussels, London and The Hague for more than 25 years. She combines a degree from the Yale Law School with an MBA in Finance and has passed the Certified Public Accountancy exam. As member of the New York bar, Kathleen specializes in: International business transactions, especially technology-related Regulatory compliance International dispute resolution EU competition law
Philippe Van Dijck
Philippe Van Dijck is an experienced lawyer, specialized in maritime, transport and commercial law. He is advising national and international clients in the shipping and commercial industry. His main area of expertise is maritime shipping law and other transport related issues. His practice ranges from pre-litigation advice and settlement negotiations to representation before different Belgian courts and arbitral tribunals. In addition to litigation, Philippe also advises clients on a regular basis on complex international commercial issues, shipping due diligence projects and other port related issues. Philippe also focuses on the drafting and negotiating of different commercial contracts. Next to this, Philippe advises and supports clients on specific GDPR projects
Roel  Nieuwdorp
Roel Nieuwdorp (°1943), senior counsel, assists domestic and foreign companies setting-up and implementing corporate governance structures. He assists in negotiations and setting-up acquisition structures and participations of private equity funds and investors. He also advises listed companies on their particular issues. He is an expert in company law and shares his knowledge and expertise at the Universiteit Antwerpen as a part-time lecturer in their Master after Master Program in Business law. He started off as a teaching assistant at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and has then pursued a career with several law firms. He holds a PhD. in law from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (1966) and a LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia (1969).
