Position

Maïja Brossard was appointed as a partner of UGGC Avocats in 2024.

Maïja has over 15 years of experience in French and EU competition law as well as distribution law.

She has been advising and representing national and international clients in a very wide range of sectors (including food, retail, services and construction).

Maïja has extensive skills in anti-competitive practices (antitrust and abuses of dominant position issues): she advises in all areas of French and EU competition law to help the clients navigate the applicable rules, in particular through trainings, audits and the setting up of compliance programs.

She also represents clients before the French Competition Authority, the Paris Court of Appeal and the commercial courts, in cartel cases and actions for damages.

In addition, Maïja has a considerable experience in merger control and accompanies the clients through every step of the merger control process, assessing the notifiability of their concentrations projects and handling several merger filings each year.

Maïja has also developed a particular experience in working with international clients and acts as a correspondent for many foreign law firms.
