Ralf Hackbarth is active at an international level and with special expertise in the areas of trademark law, design patent law and unfair competition law. He provides comprehensive legal advice to German and international clients on the protection of intellectual property. He is member of the German board of AIPPI, the standing Committee of AIPPI, the Design Committee of ECTA and the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR). One special focus of his activities is the enforcement of Union and German trademarks before the German courts, including domain law. Further, he has specialised in the enforcement of European and German design rights. He is a long-standing lecturer at the German bar association (DAV), the FORUM management institute and some lawyers’ associations.
