Career

Magdalena studied law in Mainz and then completed a master's degree in European law at the TU Dresden. As part of her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Koblenz, she worked at the German Embassy in Warsaw. Moreover, during her attorney stage Magdalena gained her first professional experience in construction and procurement law while working for a large Frankfurt law firm. In October 2003, Magdalena was admitted to the bar. Since then, she has worked in medium-sized law firms in Frankfurt am Main, Munich and, most recently since 2013, in a law firm specializing in construction law in Landshut. At the law firm in Landshut, in addition to her own construction law department, Magdalena was fully responsible for the procurement law practice. She has been working at avocado's Munich office since January 2024.

Magdalena's main focus for 20 years has been private construction, architectural and procurement law. She advises primarily public clients but also contractors, starting from the tendering process and throughout the entire project implementation. She also represents her clients in legal disputes before courts and the procurement tribunals (Vergabekammern).

Her clients also include architectural and project management offices. In addition, Magdalena designs and supports complex procurement procedures, especially for planning and specialist planning services as well as competitions.

Magdalena has been a certified specialist lawyer for construction and architectural law since 2014. She successfully completed the certified specialist lawyer course in procurement law in 2021.
