Tax Law, State Aid & EU funds

Łukasz has many years of experience in the field of tax law and public aid, he lectures on this subject, and he is the author/co-author of books, articles in this field.

He specialises in advising business clients on tax law, in particular on preparing tax structures for M&A transactions, e.g. related to broadly defined business restructuring (sale of assets, contribution in kind, mergers and divisions). Moreover, he advises clients on ongoing tax services and represents them in tax and administrative court proceedings.

Furthermore, he provides legal advisory services in the scope of public aid, including compliance of actions undertaken by clients with the rules on public aid, related to the use of EU funds, investment financing, introduction of financial engineering instruments (JEREMIE and JESSICA initiatives) and granting reliefs to entrepreneurs. He also represents clients in proceedings before public aid granting authorities.

Łukasz is a member of National Chamber of Tax Advisers since 2006.

Partner, head of the Tax Law team, he also co-heads the State Aid and EU Funds team.

A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Łukasz also completed Postgraduate Studies in Enterprise Finance and Accounting as well as Academy of Corporations organized by the Warsaw School of Economics, and various other courses on tax law and state aid.
