Ms. Zuñiga’s practice focuses on labor and employment; labor litigation; and immigration.

Ms. Zuñiga is a senior partner member of the firm’s Executive Committee and Head of the firm’s Labor and Immigration Practice Group.

María del Carmen Zuñiga joined the firm in 1981 and became a partner in 1990.

She is a recognized litigator counseling and representing clients on a wide range of labor and employment related disputes, as well as social security matters. She has a broad experience in preparing mandatory work rules and regulations, and internal company policies.

Ms. Zúñiga has also represented local and international companies like Ricardo Perez, Chevron Texaco, and Nabisco Group in the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements.
