Career

Ann, a partner at the firm, heads the employment and private clients practice.

She has advised several large companies in Malta on non-litigious employment law matters, addressing both day-to-day issues and more specific concerns such as collective redundancies and the protection of employees under the TUPE regulations.

 She is also very active in advising clients on relocation matters, including citizenship and residence. She has vast experience assisting high net worth individuals with various tax solutions and their general relocation requirements.

Ann also forms part of the transportation team, and supports clients with their aviation requirements, as well as advises on payment of social security or tax.

Education

Ann read law at the University of Malta and was conferred a B.A. in Legal and Humanistic (European) Studies in 2006, and a Diploma of Notary Public in 2007. From September 2008 to February 2009 she followed an ERASMUS program at the University of Leicester, obtaining her doctorate of Laws in 2009. She read a Masters degree in International Maritime Law at the International Maritime Law Institute Malta, an institute established under the auspices of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and graduated with distinction in May 2010.
