Pérez-Llorca

Javier joined Pérez-Llorca’s Corporate practice area in 2022. Prior to this, he was a partner in the commercial practice of the Madrid office of a Big Four. He previously worked in a Magic Circle firm, and was part of the team that founded the Barcelona office. He has also served on the legal teams of another professional services firm and the Magic Circle.

Javier specialises in private equity transactions in the healthcare, infrastructure and energy and financial sectors. He has 17 years of experience advising domestic and foreign clients on transactional matters, particularly in M&A, joint ventures and carve-outs, with a special focus on private equity. In addition, Javier participated in a secondment programme in the investment banking department at Nomura (London).

He has extensive experience in commercial and business law, particularly in transactions (mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and investments, both inbound and outbound) and commercial contracts.

He speaks Spanish, English and French.
