Pérez-Llorca

Manel Hernàndez joined Pérez-Llorca in september 2022 as partner of the Employment practice area. Prior to this, he developed his career in reputable Spanish firms in the area of labour law.

Manel has extensive experience in all areas of employment relationships, including handling legal proceedings, providing strategic advice on employment law matters, negotiating in collective disputes, and developing occupational risk prevention plans and equality plans, among other matters.

With almost 30 years of experience, until now he was a partner of a well-known Spanish firm, where he was a member of the Management Committee and Director of the Barcelona office. Prior to this, he worked in his own office, at Caixa Catalunya, at the Catalan Health Institute and at the National Institute of Social Security.

On the academic side, Manel has been an associate lecturer on the ESADE Master’s degree for Access to the Legal Profession, on the Master’s degree in Employment Law Consultancy at the Universitat de Barcelona and is currently an associate lecturer at the Universitat de Girona, where he has also taught on its Master’s degree and on the Master’s degree for Access to the Legal Profession.

Manel has also contributed to many publications and specialised journals, including:

Author of the book “El abogado en Sala: Particularidades del orden jurisdiccional social” published by Editorial Tirant Lo Blanc in 2017. Co-author of the book “La nueva regulación del Trabajo a Distancia y el Teletrabajo” published by Ediciones Francis Lefevre in 2020.
