Position
Partner Tim Krarup Nielsen has worked with IT law since 2008 and with IT from a technical perspective since the late 90’s.
Tim primarily works with IT and tech companies, usually advising on contracts concerning i.e. IT projects, outsourcing, and licensing. He has a deep technical understanding and is thus often remarked as being able to efficiently match the technical aspects of a situation with the correct legal framework. He is an often-used negotiator known for his commercial and solution-oriented approach.
Tim is also a well-known name within the field of personal data protection law, where he is a popular speaker at events concerning personal data protection. Additionally, he is a guest lecturer at the Copenhagen School of Design and Technology.
Tim has for many years been a certified IT attorney under the Danish Association of IT Attorneys. He was recently recognised by his peers as one of the leading IT attorneys by being elected to the board of directors for the Danish Association of IT Attorneys.
Tim has previously been ranked in 2012 for his part in the landmark dispute between Saab AB and the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation.
