Position
Rose is a trusted adviser to a number of high profile business families. She specialises in working with these families and their advisers to create bespoke wealth preservation structures which will withstand external attacks. She is particularly experienced in family governance, asset protection and defensive structuring. Rose also sets up and advises on family office structures and has considerable experience in drafting family constitutions. Recent examples of Rose’s work include: Creating a dynastic trust structure for a Middle Eastern business family which incorporated best practice governance principles at all levels of the structure. Rose designed the Bahamas Executive Entity, which was enshrined in legislation in 2012, to hold the shares of the private trust company and act as the supervisory body of this structure. Rose also advised on a family office and overarching family constitution. The level of governance included in this structure helped to improve the credit rating of the underlying business. Creating family governance structures for families in the UK, Switzerland and further afield in Asia and Latin America. Carrying out a risk review of several complex trust structures set up by Russian business associates, which highlighted areas of potential vulnerability and recommended both immediate and longer term fortifications to the structures. Creating Family Limited Partnership and Executive Entity platforms for a global private bank. Drafting a Global Services Agreement for a private bank. Working with a London based single family office to create a binding family constitution for its family members.
