Charles Bouffier specializes in IP/IT and media law.

He advises and litigates for French and foreign companies in various sectors such as software, cinema and audiovisual, entertainment (video games, NFT), sports and luxury goods.

In the context of regular secondments, he has had the opportunity to assist software publishers, IT service providers as well as prestigious clients. He is also very focused on issues related to the protection of innovation (patent/know-how), AI, and blockchain.

Charles has also developed a strong litigation practice in technical, IT and digital matters (in futurum investigative measures / infringement seizures / proceedings on the merits / forensic IT expertise). In particular, he has been practicing for more than 10 years in IP/IT litigation (infringement of intellectual property rights and unfair competition, software compliance, IT project failure).

Charles has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2010 and joined Racine as Partner in 2022. He is a member of the Copyright Committee of AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property). He is also a member of the Conseil supérieur de la propriété littéraire et artistique (Superior Council of Artistic and Literary Property).
