Career

Bastien Thomas specializes in competition law and co-heads Racine’s Competition Team.

With almost 20 years of experience, Bastien specialises in French and EU merger control, State aid, anti-competitive practices (cartels, abuses of a dominant position) and damages actions. Bastien also specialises in the regulation of foreign subsidies and foreign investment control. He regularly assists and represents clients before the French Competition Authority, the European Commission and French and European courts.

His sectors of expertise include automotive, mobility, food, energy, microelectronics and retail.

He has been a member of the Paris Bar in 2006 and joined Racine as Partner in 2015.
