Tax and Law

Tato Chantladze is the Partner at EY LLC and leads its Tax & Law team. He has an extensive experience in business tax advisory services, corporate law matters, banking as well as M&A transactions.

Tato has spent a decade of his career in the banking sector, serving as the general counsel at Liberty Bank JSC and TBC Bank JSC, respectively. This includes him serving as a deputy CEO of Liberty Bank JSC for over three years.

Before dedicating a decade of his career to a banking sector, Tato previously enjoyed a successful career at DLA Piper, where he worked both in Georgia and the USA.

Tato is Georgia and New York qualified attorney-at-law with a legal education obtained in Georgia and the USA. He obtained the Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from the George Washington University Law School and holds the Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B.) from the Tbilisi State University.
