Tinatin Kachakhidze is a Senior Manager in the tax practice, focusing on international and domestic tax. She joined Ernst & Young in 2006 and has 17-year experience in tax profession.

Tinatin has experience providing advisory services related to the international taxation (double taxation treaties, withholding taxes, permanent establishment issues, cross-border transactions etc.), local and international tax restructuring and planning projects. She is also experienced in assisting clients with obtaining binding tax rulings from the Georgian Revenue Service.

She has accumulated abundant experience in providing tax advice on reorganization processes and acquisitions, provision of tax controversy and dispute resolution services, tax audit risk assessment services with respect to potential challenges by the tax authorities. The services that Tinatin is involved in also include tax compliance services, covering tax calculation and filing of tax declarations for the clients.

Tinatin’s areas of competence also cover domestic business law. She has been responsible for providing legal advisory services on such issues as intellectual property, licenses, sale-purchase agreements, loan agreements, business registrations, liquidations etc.

Tinatin has experience in human capital issues leading a People Advisory Service line in Georgia. She has more than 10 years’ experience of conducting Compensation & Benefits Surveys for different sectors in Georgia as well as different types of labour market surveys. She is experienced in providing HR consulting and HR administrative support services to the clients. Tinatin is also experienced in serving clients on Global Mobility issues that includes both tax and immigration advisory and compliance projects for expatriate personnel of the clients.
