Gustavo has been at EY for 15 years and currently leads the Indirect Tax services (customs and foreign trade). He has directed various consulting, auditing and compliance projects for the customs, foreign exchange and international investment regime in various companies in Colombia. He has also directed projects for the declaration of Special Permanent Free Zones, as well as the qualification of their users in various sectors.

Among its functions are the coordination and planning of advice on customs, exchange and foreign trade matters, the direction and planning of efficient operations in the supply chain, review of compliance with customs, exchange and foreign trade operations, as well as the review of procedures related to the management of the supply chain; analysis and implementation of foreign trade programs such as special import-export systems Vallejo Plan, Free Zones, Private Warehouses, among others
