Tax Senior Manager

Erold oversees the tax and legal advisory team in Albania. He has been with PwC Albania since January 2012 and was seconded to the PwC US office in Los Angeles in August 2017. In January 2018, he began a long-term assignment with the International Tax - Financial Services ("ITS-FS") team in the Boston office, where he worked on a range of domestic and international transactions and investment strategies for investment managers, private equity funds, venture capital funds, and their portfolio companies.

Erold has advised clients on efficient fund structures, refinancing, M&A transactions, and US, Albanian, and foreign tax planning for global operations. He is a member of ACCA, holds a Master of Science in Professional Accountancy from the University of London, and has completed specialized tax training at the University of Southern California (USC). Erold has diverse experience in tax matters across Albania, Europe, and the US. He has been involved in numerous tax due diligences, pre- and post-deal tax restructuring, and international tax matters for equity funds and their portfolio companies in various industries, including financial services, energy, mining, construction, and real estate.

In Albania, Erold is responsible for tax advisory matters, including international tax, M&A transactions, and pre- and post-deal structuring. In collaboration with the legal team, he assists in setting up companies in Albania and creating efficient tax structures. He has contributed to the successful closing of several recent deals.
