Career

Małgorzata Mroczkowska-Horne counsels clients on issues relating to competition law in a broad sense of the term, with special focus on state-of-the art business solutions that fulfil the requirements of competition law in Poland and internationally. In her practice, Małgorzata has advised clients on a wide spectrum of anti-monopoly matters and concentration control in the following sectors, among others: telecommunication, finance, insurance, gas and oil, and energy sectors. 

Her area of expertise includes counselling on transactions, both domestically and in multiple jurisdictions, on competition law, M&A law, real estate law, privatisation as well as labour and employment law. Her professional experience also covers legal issues relating to regulated sectors – the pharmaceutical sector, telecommunication sector and energy sector.

Representative engagements include the following: advising a mobile telecom operator on compliance with anti-trust law; advising a pharmaceutical holding on the acquisition of a publicly-traded company in Poland; advising a manufacturer of luxury goods, pharmaceutical companies and manufacturers of domestic appliances, among others, on all types of aspects relating to distribution systems, including selective distribution; advising a pharmaceutical holding on parallel trade in light of competition law; advising a telecom holding on the planned disposal of an internet portal; representing a gas and oil holding on international aspects relating to the planned acquisition of a company; advising an international insurance group on the planned acquisition of bancassurance assets; representing clients before anti-monopoly authorities and courts.

Małgorzata is a member of the Competition Law Association and an NGO-advisor to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection President as part of the International Competition Network.
