Senior Associate

Dita is a Senior Associate at law firm “PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal” in Latvia with more than 10 years legal experience, specializing mainly in Competition Law and Healthcare, Pharma and Life Sciences. Legal experience has also been gained in administrative law, civil procedure law and litigation. She has also conducted in-depth research in various sectors including retail and media, and assessed the impact of public persons activities on competition (competition neutrality – legal and economic assessment).

Before joining “PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal” team, Dita has gained extensive experience working for the Competition Council for more than eight years (in recent years as a Deputy Director of the Legal Department and Adviser on Competition Policy).

As an expert, Dita has participated in international work groups, and in legislation process at government’s and parliament’s stages, as well as has been involved as an expert in the process of adopting and transposing several directives.

She has provided consultations to the state/local government institutions, market participants, non-governmental organizations in the field of competition law, inc.in the field on private enforcement., and pharmaceutical law.
