Career

Gilles is a lawyer specialized in Corporate Law and has been partner at PwC Legal in France since 1996. He advises and assists national and multinational corporates in numerous economic sectors. Gilles has extensive experience and strong credentials in (i) assisting multinational groups and other corporates in reorganizing their legal structures, structuring and undertaking business transformation projects. He has been in charge of numerous national or international projects of post deal integration, rationalization or simplification of groups, adaptation of legal structures and contracts in the context of value chain transformation, cross-border and national merger projects, demergers, partial asset contributions, business transfers (ii) M&A transactions – including acquisitions, equity capital transactions, investments, divestments, joint ventures… – , advising throughout the entire project, assisting during the negotiations and drafting the legal documentation supporting the transaction (iii) advising foreign investors in France (iv) governance, compliance, incentive plans for employees and executives. He works closely with others in various fields of expertise (tax, labor law, competition law, financial law, IP/IT, etc., as well as with experts of other PwC's service lines e.g. valuations, consulting…) to offer clients complete and combined solutions. Gilles is a member of the PwC IBR Leadership Team (International Business Reorganizations Network) and heads the PwC's Japan Business Network (JBN) in France. He is a former member of the Hauts-de-Seine Bar Council.
