Associate

Maija is an Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal, practicing law for more than 15 years. Maija specialises in personal data protection, consumer rights protection and administrative law.

Before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal, Maija worked for many years at the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Latvia at Legal Department, Internal Market Department and Department of EU and Foreign Economic Relations.

Maija gained important legal experience at the Euro implementation project, experience in litigation by representing Latvia in court and preparing preliminary questions to the Court of Justice of the European Union.

Maija’s practical experience and competition in large- scale national projects allows to successfully represent the interest of clients in complex and various disputes, especially in issues related to data protection, administrative and consumer rights.
