German Desk

Our German Desk is a team consisting of members of various practice groups and provides comprehensive advice to our clients in the D-A-CH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) in all areas of Luxembourg law relevant to their private and business activities. All our lawyers have several years of experience in providing legal advice in Luxembourg and/or in the D-A-CH region and are also admitted to the Luxembourg Bar (Barreau de Luxembourg).

The German Desk focuses on investment funds for institutional investors and initiators from the GSA region. In particular, the team successfully advises on structuring, setting up, investing in and advising on alternative structures. Not to be neglected, however, is the topic of structuring family assets (incl. asset succession, pro bono, optimisation of business units). We are also very active in cross-border labour law, commercial law and corporate law.

Particularly in cross-border projects, where the ever-increasing regulation at the European level is of high importance, we are able to provide our clients with optimal advice in their own language and with knowledge of the business customs and corporate culture. This includes, but is not limited to, issues that are of particular importance in cross-border activities.

Legal and regulatory conditions from the various countries are not only recognised during the ongoing project, but are proactively analysed in advance and thus flow directly into the legal advice. This ensures that cross-border, German-language projects of our German Desk are carried out and completed smoothly and in accordance with the legal framework. The client's needs are always of paramount interest. Upon request, any transaction documents can be drawn up in German without additional effort and without any problems.
