Advocate & Commisioner for Oaths

Dr Vella was admitted to the Maltese Bar in 2023 after graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) and Master of Advocacy degrees from the University of Malta with her dissertation being titled ‘An Examination of the Doctrine of Hot Pursuit with special reference to the Maltese Contiguous Zone’.

Throughout her University experience, Dr Vella has interned with several different legal teams helping her touch upon diverse areas of law, namely, Maritime, Company Law, Finance Law and Banking. More recently she has worked within the Criminal and Family law practice areas where she has gained sufficient and considerable knowledge in these areas of law as well.

As of December 2023, Dr Vella has also obtained her warrant to serve as Commissioner for Oaths.

Dr Vella is deeply passionate about litigation, deriving immense satisfaction from championing clients’ causes and achieving successful outcomes.
