Michael has practiced in the field of mental health, capacity and community care law for over 25 years (with relevant experience in the preceding 5 years). He has represented clients with mental health problems in the following jurisdictions:

First tier tribunal mental health Court of Protection High Court (inherent jurisdiction) Parole Board Crown Court

Michael’s focus includes:

Issues concerning a client’s mental health The capacity to make decisions and related issues Solutions in relation to safeguarding concerns
