Michael leads the criminal defence team and has a particular interest in representing mentally disordered offenders. He is also a former member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s Mental Health Review Tribunal panel and has extensive experience in this specialist area.

Michael is an experienced police station and court duty solicitor meaning he has represented clients from police station interview to the Royal Courts of Justice. As a solicitor advocate, Michael is able to represent his clients in all courts, from the Magistrates to the Court of Appeal.
