Career
Michael Ginsburg is a leading partner at the litigation department and has extensive experience in civil litigation with representing clients in broad, complicated commercial litigation and arbitration in all areas of corporate, commercial and civil law.
Michael specializes in all areas of commercial litigation including securities litigation, complex corporate and contractual litigation, administrative litigation, insolvency litigation, class actions and other disputes for both Israeli and international clients and as such, he offers his clients continuous, professional counsel at every stage of a legal dispute, in order to reach an appropriate solution while protecting and achieving the clients’ business objectives.
Michael also represents his clients in disputes before all Israeli courts, arbitration organizations and tribunals, in Israel and abroad.
Michael is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and the firm’s real estate practice group and counsels commercial clients regarding all aspects of a wide range of real estate transactions including complicated sales, combination agreements, partnership agreements, tenders, residential deals and more. He also represents clients in related litigation.
In June 2021, Michael contributed a chapter in the new book, “The Securities Litigation Review”, published by Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, which details a comprehensive legal guide to Securities Litigation in Israel. In the chapter, Micky provides an overview of the uniqueness of the Israeli jurisdiction, the private and public enforcement of securities law and the new developments in this field, with special emphasis on the use of the business judgment rule in securities litigation cases and the interpretation of the courts in applying this rule.
