Meital Malkiel Wertheim specialises in dispute resolution with a strong focus on construction, infrastructure, company law and contractual and real estate-related disputes.

Meital has extensive experience assisting global and local clients on a wide range of infrastructure projects, tenders and civil engineering matters.

She provides legal advice throughout all stages of the project (including strategic contractual advice during the course of a project), and handles dispute management when necessary. Meital has a strong track record resolving complex disputes arising from the construction of infrastructure and energy projects. She is seasoned in a wide range of dispute resolution methods, including: negotiation, mediation, expert determination, arbitration and court proceedings. These dispute resolution activities span a wide range of matters, including: tenders, construction disputes, cost overruns, termination of EPC contracts, functional performance of project facilities, construction, design defects and general contractual issues.

Meital’s clients include a broad range of international and domestic contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, property owners, landlords, tenants and joint venture partners.

Prior to joining S. Horowitz & Co. in 2009, Meital worked in the Criminal Division at the State Attorney’s Office.  She also worked in the Legal Department of the Knesset.
