Career

Moti Saban is both a tax attorney and a certified public accountant. He advises multinational and domestic clients on a broad range of tax matters, and represents clients before the Israeli tax authorities and courts on disputed tax assessment proceedings.

Moti has extensive experience counselling on all aspects of corporate and individual taxation, international taxation, tax structuring, local and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and restructurings, real estate transactions, indirect taxes (value-added tax and customs duties), taxation of NGO’s, charities and non-profit organizations, investments (including investment incentives and benefits programs for investors), transfer pricing, employment taxation (including social security and health care duties), and employment compensation taxation (including stock option plans and other employee benefits). He also provides legal counsel to high net worth individuals and families on individual taxation, including estate tax planning, trusts and private investments.

Moti represents clients of the firm on disputed tax assessments as well as voluntary disclosure of unreported taxable income. He resolves and negotiates settlements with the Israeli tax authorities on disputed tax assessments and, where necessary, challenges tax assessments before the Israeli Courts.

Before joining S. Horowitz & Co., Moti worked in the International Tax Department of KPMG Somekh Chaikin.
