Avigail has an extensive and diverse Real Estate Practice, encompassing a wide range of real estate transactions. Avigail works with public and private clients on all aspects and stages of real estate transactions, from the very inception of the transaction, to determining its structure, negotiating its terms and drafting the actual agreement, all the way through to signature and completion.
Her practice includes leading and advising on commercial and residential real estate transactions, sale and purchase agreements, combination agreements, urban renewal projects (including “Evacuation and Reconstruction” agreements and agreements for executing projects in accordance with National Outline Plan 38 (Tama 38)), land development, purchasing groups, BOT and PFI projects, commercial leases, tender projects (issuing tenders and submitting bids) as well as real estate finance and construction projects.
Avigail also represents landowners in connection with various land rights disputes, including those pertaining to dissolution of real estate partnerships, and she assists landowners in regulating and registering their rights with the official Land Registration Offices and the Israel Land Authority.
Avigail’s highly diverse clientele comprises public and private entities, entrepreneurs, developers, construction companies and infrastructure companies. She advises her clients on their ongoing day-to-day activities as well as on complex commercial transactions, according to each client’s individual and specific needs.
Avigail has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating a wide array of commercial agreements, including: licensing, agency, purchase and/or sale, marketing, supply, manufacture, joint venture, management and services. Avigail also advises public and private entities on regulatory issues that affect, or arise in connection with, the client’s particular sphere of activity, business and operations.
Avigail also acts on behalf of local and foreign nonprofit organizations, charities, public benefit companies and private endowments. Her expertise in this field includes the establishment and registration of these nonprofits as well as providing ongoing advice with regard to filing and regulatory requirements and, in particular, practical advice on the Israeli regulatory provisions applicable to nonprofit organizations and the manner in which they operate in Israel.
Within her practice, Avigail advises on draft laws and regulations that could impact upon her clients. She has authored academic articles and opinion pieces on these topics and has been called before various committees of Israel’s Knesset to comment on or provide advice or recommendations with respect to proposed legislation or regulations.
