Before joining IKC, Chris held the position of Head of Real Estate (Sub-sales) at a reputable Law Firm. He now leads the Real Estate Practice at IKC.

Chris is an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya and holds a Certificate of Legal Practice from the Legal Profession Qualifying Board. He earned his Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Northumbria University, United Kingdom.

Chris has extensive experience advising private clients and corporations on the sale, purchase, and leasing of commercial and residential properties, as well as real estate and corporate financing, including Real Property Gains Tax.

Recognised as one of the finalists for Deal Maker of the Year 2024, he represents the world's largest glove manufacturer in its tenancy and property transactions, including the swift acquisition and leasing of properties for workers' dormitories during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Chris also advised an international bubble tea chain on acquiring its new headquarters in Selangor, Malaysia.

He frequently negotiates a wide range of contracts for both foreign and local clients, including sale and purchase agreements, individual and master tenancy agreements, property financing, and joint development deals.

Additionally, Chris has extensive experience in commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, share sales, and shareholders’ agreements. He is recognised for his ability to manage complex deals and guide clients through a wide range of legal and business matters.
